**I do not recommend Hotel Megalopolis** I stayed in a two-person suite for 7 days. The service was good, but nothing exceptional. The air conditioning was a bit old, although it worked well. What really bothered me was the $170 extra charge when I invited a friend to the hotel. Even though the reservation was for two people, a security guard waited until we were in the room to interrupt us and force me to go to the front desk to pay for an additional person. The way they handled the situation was cold and unprofessional; they seemed more like a robot than a customer service employee. I found it to be an abuse and an unjustified charge, as I was not informed of any of this when making the reservation. Overall, I did not feel comfortable or welcome. I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for good service and transparency in the services.

I loved the lush greenery around the pool and the pool itself was a decent size for swimming laps. The bar areas were well maintained and the doorman/ security was so friendly and helpful.

Tryp by Wyndham Panama Centro is located 1 km away from Panama town centre and 10 minutes’ drive from Panama International Airport.

We booked a room at Tryp but in reality we stayed at Victoria Hotel because there was a problem with the air conditioning in our room. We were informed in advance and they organize the change to a similar hotel (same facilities). I can not review this hotel and its room because I did not stayed in it but the hotel that they chose for us was clean, the room was big and comfortable.

Location is perfect for an extended stay. Grocery store only 3 blocks away. A few good restaurants also in walking distance. Bed was very comfortable and bedroom was quiet. Easy Uber pick up and drop off. Great pool for lap swimming.
