Great river views and very convenient to both the train station and the bus station to Machu Picchu.
Located in the heart of Machu Picchu town, the stylish El MaPi offers organic gastronomy and contemporary rooms. Rates include breakfast buffet and la carte dinner.
These hotels offer something unique in terms of design and are usually set in a trendy, urban part of town. Blending high standards with a homey vibe, boutique hotels are more intimate than your average hotel.
I recently stayed at a hotel USGAR Machupicchu Boutique, in Aguas Calientes and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the room was spacious with a very comfortable king-sized bed. The view from the room was lovely, and the bathroom was generally nice. Breakfast was adequate, offering the basics to start the day, but nothing exceptional.
The standout feature of this hotel was the amazing and very helpful staff who went out of their way to assist with any requests or questions.
Thank you for this experience!
Great boutique hotel located near the main bus station to get to Machupicchu.
There are plenty of restaurants near by, and many convenient stores.
Eliseo at the front desk is very nice, informative, professional and kind, he is always there for you, as well as Anna, the lady in the morning, there are both nice and kind to the guests.
Everything was perfect. The room was clean and with a nice design. I was a bit worried because of noise that you can usually hear in a hostel, but it was all quiet during the night and we slept very well. The hotel gives also the possibility to have the breakfast starting 4:30 AM (which is perfect for those visiting Machu Picchu early in the morning.)
The hotel is a beautiful modern design. The bar is a lovely are and happy hour es great 2 x 1. The food is buffet style for breakfast but lots of good healthy options. The spa area is beautiful. The porters take your bags to the train station for you which is great.
- The location was very convenient
-The owner was super helpful and lovely
-The room was very comfortable and affordable
- We were even provided a packed lunch for our way up Machu Picchu
- The shower pressure was great and had hot water
I like the place but i think that beds should be changed because those were a bit old and make much noise. Also, you can hear noises or people talking between the rooms, i think they dont have a good design to keep noise reduction. To summarize it's well located near to the train station and many restaurants.
