Very nice hotel, easy to reach from Funchal (bus or walk). Comfortable bed, nice room (some parts, like the corridor would welcome some renovation), clean bathroom, kind personnel. Missed a coffee machine from the room but is is not a big issue. Superb breakfast. During the evening period we “enjoyed” significant smell of fried fish from a nearby restaurant kitchen (couldn’t keep the terrace door open between 6-10PM), but we were very near to the roof vent of the place and we managed not to stay in the room in this period.
