We have used this hotel before and found the location ideal for access to the waterfront restaurants and shops. Our sea view room was clean and comfortable with drinking water replaced each day.

I loved this stay because it was so out of the ordinary. The architecture and surroundings were amazing! Don’t stop there because the breakfast was amazing! The oranges were in season! I never knew what an in season orange tasted like!

The Hotel was in a good location close to everything one would need, however be aware that flights start taking off from about 6:30am and it is LOUD if you have the windows open. It's slightly better with them closed. Other than that it was a nice stay.

checkin was good and the desk clerk v helpful. Spa experience was great and breakfast what you would expect from a 5* hotel. we had supper in the bar restaurant and this was a poor experience. Srvice was slow and my wife asked foe more dressing foe a slad which took for ever to arrive despite being chased for. The staff seemed directionless and lacked leadership. I sensed some other customers in the bar were not happy with the experience. we were comped with a bottle of sparkling water. It was a v poor experience in all.

Staying at the Pousada was the most enjoyable part of being in Tavira. The accommodations were perfection. Such beauty and so very peaceful.
