The staff was very helpful and friendly. Sp mention to Bhuvan, Amug,Viola, Deepak,Hamad ,restaurant staff, chef, Spa staff, housekeeping and the boat crew. As vegetarians we found a lot on the menu that we could eat. Though pls add more indian vegetarian in the bfast, if feasible. The Public pool is beautiful but we thought it could be away from the restaurant side...... All in all it was a beautiful experience. we recommend all to visit.

We stayed in a lovely two bedroom villa with an amazing ocean view, exactly as per the photo on Booking. The house was clean, well equipped, with modern and useful facilities and equipment. The team was helpful and responsive.
The only thing we did not appreciate was the level of security of the property and the safety of the guests. The villas are quite secluded, embedded on a hill covered with beautiful and quite thick vegetation, and there is no physical barrier for anyone to be able to access the villa garden or the balcony. Lately, theft levels in the Seychelles have been increasing, as a consequence of a rising drug addiction problem among the local population. The villas management clearly informed us that we need to lock the house and turn on the security system when we are out and as well at night while we are inside sleeping.
Taking precautions is always a good things, we did not mind and readily followed the instructions, however the problem for us came when we realized that:
1. The house security alarm system is not in fact connected to anybody - not the police, not a security company, so basically, burglars can come, the alarm will sound, if someone hears it and comes to help - good, if not, we are on our own.
2. There is nobody around - the reception is only populated a few hours during the day, and the rest of the time there is nobody around - no security guard on duty or at least someone who can hear if the alarm sounds and call the police. Indeed, we were instructed how to lock and turn the alarm on, and we were given the number of the local police department, yet I did not feel safe, particularly at night, while us and the kids were sleeping in the house, thinking that someone can break in…
These hotels offer something unique in terms of design and are usually set in a trendy, urban part of town. Blending high standards with a homey vibe, boutique hotels are more intimate than your average hotel.
An elegantly designed resort that felt both alive and pleasantly calm at once. Situated just a beach stroll away from everything Beau Vallon offers, the hotel made it very easy to dip in and out of the island atmosphere. The entire resort, including beach, gardens, restaurants, pool, and room were well-maintained and clean.
The hotel staff themselves went above and beyond in making our stay perfect. I couldn't fault one of them, but in particular Abdelfattah, Aaliyah, and Sushil went out of their way to make things special for us.
Fabulous room and facilities. The staff could not be more helpful and lovely. Really felt like a luxury experience. We had a lot of fun at the beach and rented kayaks and SUPs for free. Lots of lovely places to eat nearby.
stylish design, clean facilities, food is excellent wide range of choices, staff is very helpful especially Abdul welcomed us well and explained everything professionally and nicely, gave us an introduction and talked about the hotel in detail so we knew what we was doing and recommended us what to do.
Amazing hotel with top class service! Its not just about luxury facilities, stylish design, perfect location but especially dedicated staff trying to do their best to ensure you feel like on cloud 9. Always helpful and smiling, they cared about our convenience since the beginning till the end of our 10 days vacation. They even offered us free of charge late checkout without asking. Thank you to all team for making our vacation memorable one :-))
Beautifully designed hotel, although big, it never felt like a large resort more a boutique hotel, gardens are gorgeous and well maintained. The food in all restaurants is good and our favourite was Traders Vic.
The staff was professional and helpful but the special mention is necessary to all amazing girls at the reception, especially the lovely Shamira who made our stay even more unforgettable!
We booked another hotel nearby for the second leg of our stay but after checking it in person we decided to come back to the Story instead.
- location- right on the beautiful beach & easy to reach from airport
- large, clean unit with fridge, safe, basics provided
- morning juice and fruit was a lovely touch
- friendly owners
- the views are gorgeous from the unit & the sunsets were stunning
- pizza place next door was very good
Location! Being a big fan of boutique hotels, with limited rooms, this hit all my requirements. The staff were very polite, knowledgeable, kind, while keeping themselves out of sight, and being there when you needed them. The rooms are gorgeous and extremely spacious! Definitely not the last time we will be staying here as we are making this gorgeous country our annual getaway!
The resort setting and rooms are stunning. Beautifully designed, dramatic scenery and unique gardens. Views from the room and jacuzzi bath out of this world. Breakfast is world class, coffee is excellent and the buffet immense, lovely lay out and speedy service off the a la carte too. Dining staff are fast and friendly. Bed and room very comfortable with all that you require!
