The staff was very helpful and friendly. Sp mention to Bhuvan, Amug,Viola, Deepak,Hamad ,restaurant staff, chef, Spa staff, housekeeping and the boat crew. As vegetarians we found a lot on the menu that we could eat. Though pls add more indian vegetarian in the bfast, if feasible. The Public pool is beautiful but we thought it could be away from the restaurant side...... All in all it was a beautiful experience. we recommend all to visit.

We stayed in a lovely two bedroom villa with an amazing ocean view, exactly as per the photo on Booking. The house was clean, well equipped, with modern and useful facilities and equipment. The team was helpful and responsive.
The only thing we did not appreciate was the level of security of the property and the safety of the guests. The villas are quite secluded, embedded on a hill covered with beautiful and quite thick vegetation, and there is no physical barrier for anyone to be able to access the villa garden or the balcony. Lately, theft levels in the Seychelles have been increasing, as a consequence of a rising drug addiction problem among the local population. The villas management clearly informed us that we need to lock the house and turn on the security system when we are out and as well at night while we are inside sleeping.
Taking precautions is always a good things, we did not mind and readily followed the instructions, however the problem for us came when we realized that:
1. The house security alarm system is not in fact connected to anybody - not the police, not a security company, so basically, burglars can come, the alarm will sound, if someone hears it and comes to help - good, if not, we are on our own.
2. There is nobody around - the reception is only populated a few hours during the day, and the rest of the time there is nobody around - no security guard on duty or at least someone who can hear if the alarm sounds and call the police. Indeed, we were instructed how to lock and turn the alarm on, and we were given the number of the local police department, yet I did not feel safe, particularly at night, while us and the kids were sleeping in the house, thinking that someone can break in…
These hotels offer something unique in terms of design and are usually set in a trendy, urban part of town. Blending high standards with a homey vibe, boutique hotels are more intimate than your average hotel.
Great apartment in lovely tropical grounds. Nice staff, very accomodating. Close to the beach, short walk up to the swimming beach and bus stops and supermarket right next door.
Very well furnished and new apartment with fantastic views out into the ocean. It's modern and designed to have an entire wall open into a balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we had stayed for longer.
I strongly suggest to rent a car for transport. Bacova Sur Mer has ample parking behind a locked gate.
A fantastic boutique hotel with great ambience and friendly attentative staff.
Great meals, the dinner selection is varied and well prepared and tasty.
Definitely a hotel I will return to when again in Mahe.
This place is absolutely incredible. You could not desire a better position than this. The private beach is unique, and you can also take a kayak or sup (prior a 50€ deposit) from the property. The apartment design is amazing, and you have all the facilities you need. Many compliments to the cleaning lady, we found every day a clean place with a good smell. I absolutely recommend this place.
The apt is very clean and super nice designed. The kitchen has everything you would ever need!
The location is good: 15 min away from the airport, right next to the rum factory. Across the main street is the beach and 5 min away 2 shops and a restaurant.
Wi fi works very good.
Our host was super nice and helpful and they also do airport or ferry transfers for a fee. Will defenetly book again if we have the chance. Thank you!
After our round trip (Mahé-Praslin-La Digue-Mahé) I can say that this accommodation is by far the best. I would love to come back on my next trip to the Seychelles.
Great design, beautiful furniture and very good facilities make it damn hard to leave the house, even if paradise is waiting outside the door.
The hosts are very caring and have a more than satisfactory solution for every problem.
The cleaning team is also very friendly and at least as funny as the hosts.
A clear 10/10 🙌
Brilliant location with stunning views from the balcony. The villa was large and spacious set in beautiful grounds and great wildlife - the fruit bats were amazing. The WiFi worked without any problem. The hosts, Myrvin and Jeff were wonderful. They even prepared a mid-week meal for us that was delicious. Fairyland beach is a 5 minute drive away and has some lovely snorkelling in warm shallow waters. If we were to return to the Seychelles we would definitely choose the Songbird again. Many thanks to Myrvin and Jeff.
One of the best private accomadation on the island of Mahe! So well maintained, luxury furniture and the view is just stunning! Henry, the owner, was helpful with tips and always available.
