We loved the place we had a very soft bed so we could finally sleep well! This is so nice here in Europe when most of the beds we have had are very firm/ too hard so I can't sleep well. The girl working at the hotel was very friendly, kind, and helpful. We were upgraded to the room with a jet tub because the rooms we originally booked were full. This was awesome, the jet tub was a great addition.

Cheerfully furnished room with comfortable bed, somewhat institutional flair, but very clean. Staff was extremely friendly and patient, but check in seemed a bit complicated. We added breakfast for our first morning and this was nice, too; basic, but good quality. The room featured a kitchenette which was fully equipped. A larger shared kitchen can be found downstairs too.

It is a nice, boring place by the lake. But boring could be good, you know :) The rooms are comfortable. The scenary is great. The food in the restaraunt is abundant... I asked the staff if I can swim in the lake, and they said it is kind of dirty from the weed, but I still jumped in and it felt great!

The pictures did not do MuziKafe justice. A quick 10-15 min walk from the train station we walked into a charming cafe (reception is at the payment terminal for the cafe). The different rooms are the cafe each have their own character and were decorated for the Kurentovanje festival, the lower cellar style room even has a pool table. The person working helped us get our bags upstairs to a room with more character than the cafe. Even with the couch pulled out for a 2nd bed the room had plenty of space for 2 women to move around and not bump into each other, the bathroom is one of the most spacious I have come across in Europe. There is an interior courtyard and a front deck for the cafe that were not utilized during our time but I can see them being coveted spots in nicer weather. As for the cafe they have some of the best coffee I'd had in Slovenia, a lovely selection of local wines, a hazelnut cake to die for, and make sure your bring your appetite if you opt for their breakfast. It's a traditional Slovenian style breakfast with cured meats (without for vegetarians), cheese, bread, croissants, butter, eggs, fruit (fresh and dried), juices, etc.; all incredibly fresh and all local.

Grand Hotel Primus is located in Ptuj, the oldest city of Slovenia, and offers a vast spa area with swimming pools, culinary highlights in the on-site restaurants, and a fitness center.
