Kata Tranquil Villa is a 5-minute drive from Karon and Kata Beaches. Offering comfortable accommodation, it is equipped with an outdoor pool and on-site parking facilities.

The rooms were large and airy. The beds were comfortable, and the aircon worked great. Bottled water upon arrival and within the fridge. The pool was right outside my door, which was a really nice touch for a quiet location. 5 minute walk from civilisation with a few cafes and restaurants less than 1minute walk away

The uniquely designed Venice-style Access Resort in Phuket is well located, only a 10-minute walk or 3-minute ride from the beautiful Karon Beach.

I arrived at 9.30 am and my room was ready. They had found my booking from 5 years ago and had welcome back on the bed. Staff were all friendly and helpful. I felt safe as a solo lady traveller.

Sugar Marina Resort- ART- Karon Beach is located in Phuket, a 3-minute walk from the scenic Karon Beach. The hotel offers an outdoor pool and 24-hour reception.

Pros: Location was perfect. Right in the heart of Karon Beach. A 5 minute walk to the beach, 7/11, Mini Mart, Pharmacy, Massage Shop, Money Exchanger and lots of restaurants around the area to choose from. We’ve stayed in Patong before and this was much nicer, the hustle and bustle wasn’t anywhere near as crazy. Location was 10/10. Hotel was located down a little laneway so it was nice to be off the main road. Breakfast was nice enough, standard buffet breakfast. Tables fill up quickly though Hotel provide you with a beach bag, beach towels and picnic blanket to use at the beach which was handy There is a small playground for children with a slide, other than that there isn’t much else for them to do. I believe there is a kids club but that’s for children aged 4 and over so this didn’t suit our needs. Cons: Cleaning was an issue. Everyday it felt like we were chasing the cleaning cart through the hallways asking for new towels despite having the “make up our room” sign up since early in the morning. Pool could also be a bit cleaner. There was a bar by the pool, but some days it was open and some days it was closed. You could order food, but again; there were barely any staff to ask to facilitate this. There were some constructions works going on so not sure if this impacted it or not. Apart from staff at reception, not many spoke English, in fact, staff were scarce. There was no one really around the pool, and barely any staff at breakfast. We didn’t have any interactions with any staff except for chasing the cleaning cart and check in/check out. Overall, we did enjoy our stay. We are used to Bali where staff are friendly, happy and engaging, and we didn’t get that here. I don’t think what we paid reflected what we received. It’s not a “bad” hotel and I’d stay again for the right price, just a few things to improve on.

    Very stylish rooms, modernly furnished and well designed for a comfortable stay, up to color coordination and finer details. Comfortable bed and squeaky clean room. Room and bathroom size are not the biggest but even so perfectly suitable for a few nights stay, unless you have a lot of suitcases I would imagine. Location is a little far from the beach compared to other options in Karon (about 10 minutes walk) but that's reflected in the good quality/price bracket.

    The location was close to beach without being too close to busy area. The room was nicely decorated with some lovely design lead features. It was large and very well equipped. The staff were so kind and helpful. One of the staff went out of her way to find me a taxi to Phuket Old Town when I couldn’t get one through Bolt, The only suggestion I would make is to put one of the mirrors near a socket point for blow drying hair

    Lovely boutique hotel, ideal for couples wanting to chill out. Being up the hill it is away from the noise and activity on the beach. The rooftop pool is perfect for watching the sun go down, with a cocktail, whilst sitting at one of the tables in the pool. Staff are exceptional, friendly and a helpful as they can possibly be. Rooms are spotless and recently renovated to a very good standard. Food in the restaurant was very good and the menu was extensive.

    The resort is well-decorated and the staff are friendly. We were impressed with the facilities, particularly the sky pool and the in-house massage experience. Overall a pleasant stay especially for the price. I like the interior design of the room.
