United KingdomAfter experiencing miles of terrible Turkish architecture, this was a real gem in the middle of the University District of Bornova, a suburb of Izmir. A beautiful garden and porch surround this traditional Ottoman villa with an outdoor seating area and dining area with a brazier to keep you warm. We had an enormous room with a huge bed and an amazingly comfortable mattress, nice bed linen and a modern power shower. The staff were very nice and welcoming.
