Offering a shared lounge and garden view, Aleex Villa is situated in Yuanshan, 9.2 km from Luodong Railway Station and 15 km from Jiaoxi Railway Station.

It is a Victorian style Airbnb hotel, located out of the city, about 10-15mins drive to city centre. Booked the rooftop terrace which gave the beautifully unblocked view of sunset and sunrise. Unfortunately I drove to Yilan.

    The hotel is stunning. I was particularly impressed by the space and comfort of my room, with private onsen on the patio. Staff is very kind and helpful. Japanese restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced for the price. The spa is fantastic too. There isn't much to do on foot around, but people come there mostly to enjoy the facilities of the great resort. Free bikes to rent and at least 3 konbini on walking distance

    Such a clean and comfy place. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive whilst giving a good balance of privacy. Breakfast was good. We had a lovely time here!! Want to gatekeep such a gem but it would be unfair for our lovely hosts. Will def recommend and bring our family in future.

    Lovely spacious house. Owner was very helpful. He took our heavy suitcases upstairs for us. He was also willing to pick us up from the station but we manages and didn't need him to.

    Perfect location to stay when visiting the Kavalan (and Jim & Dad's) or well, tking some lovely time off in the interesting mix of rice fields and modern buildings (AND THIS CASTLE) in Yilan. Much recommended, Will stay again and cannot wait to be back!

    It's very well built, good for families but also well designed for a couples getaway. We stayed the weekend in the Garden room that has the outdoor bath with natural hot spring water which was nice. The room has excellent sound proofing and AC. The bathroom was very large and I liked the side shower accessible to the outside bath area. The buffet restaurant and bar was good too!

    The staff were amazing! Especially Mei Ling. She picked us up from the Yilan bus station, helped us plan our time in Yilan and found us a lovely taxi driver who took us around Yilan and its environs during our stay. The room was perfect too - huge queen beds that were very comfortable! In addition to a delicious breakfast there was also a complimentary afternoon tea set with cakes and fruit that they provided for us. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would both recommend it and also go there again if we are in Yilan.
