United StatesThe location was great; very close to Acadia National Park which was why we wanted to be in Bar Harbor. It was a short walk to restaurants and shops downtown which was great. The breakfast was good.

Everything is brand new and well thought out. Each bedroom has a stunning bathroom and a big walk-in closet and a lovely balcony to enjoy the morning sun with a cup of tea. The beds are gigantic with super soft bedding, they are pure luxury! The hosts, Martha and Tim, are so welcoming, friendly and helpful with local knowledge of walks and places to eat. I stayed there on Christmas Eve, and was able to walk the Coastal Path twice, and a short walk, about 2.5 blocks, brought me past two churches preparing for evening services, to a charming boutique, Sagegrass Gallery, that was open, and the town itself, with its window fronts so creatively adorned for the season. The room had everything designed for comfort, convenience, and cleanliness. I especially liked the modern bathroom heating.
