Located in Fairfax, 20 miles from Air Force Memorial, Sonesta ES Suites Fairfax Fair Lakes has accommodations with a fitness center, private parking, a shared lounge and a tennis court.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and incredibly helpful. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was even offered a complimentary upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly cozy, the linens felt luxurious, and the view from my window was absolutely stunning. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day, always leaving the room fresh and tidy. The hotel amenities were also top-notch — the fitness center was well-equipped, the spa was serene and relaxing, and the on-site restaurant served delicious meals with great variety. Breakfast each morning was a real highlight, with a wide range of fresh options to suit every taste. Location-wise, the hotel couldn’t be better situated. It was close to everything I needed — shops, restaurants, and key attractions — but still felt quiet and peaceful at night. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way.

I booked this hotel thinking it had an outside balcony but realized once I got there, the balcony was inside the hotel overlooking the banquet hall, which I don't understand why. I was definitely upset since I am a smoker and the hotel was smoke free

Only 20 minutes away by car from the Washington DC National mall. Very quiet place, clean and cozy. We stayed for one night and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. There is nice complimentary breakfast in the morning. There is Aldi, Thai and Mexican restaurants 2 minutes away by walk. Totally recommend it!

Very nice room set up. One of the best we've seen. The division between the couch, the TV (swivel) placement went to both sides of the room, the bed side had a bench which was the opposite side of the couch area. Bath was plenty roomy and well appointed. The toiletries were excellent, large bottles (attached to walls) of Crabtree and Evelyn products with a great scent. Had a lovely lunch at the bar with great service. Very walkable area and wonderful tree views. We would definitely return if we come back to this area. Great hotel.

Boutique hotel in an urban shopping and dining community near I-66 and the Beltway. Easy walking to about 20 eateries. Also the bedding was the most comfortable I have experienced in a DC metro hotel.
