This is a charming historic hotel with a small but cozy bar and restaurant. Everything was great - efficient check-in, our room, overall cleanliness, charm throughout, and super friendly staff. I highly recommend.
These hotels offer something unique in terms of design and are usually set in a trendy, urban part of town. Blending high standards with a homey vibe, boutique hotels are more intimate than your average hotel.
The room was well equipped with all the usual, basic features including small fridge, microwave, and everything functioned as designed. Lighting was sufficient except for weak lighting at the desk, a place that needs better light. Furniture was comfortable, as was the bed.
It was neat and designed well. It had a boutique hotel feel but with the amenities. The rooms were spacious and had a great vibe. I love the denim touches including the denim robes.
The showers were designed for a man and did not take into consideration a woman's needs nor her physiology and so were EXTREMELY difficult and uncomfortable to use!! Also, the water pressure left a lot to be desired!!!
The cleaning, front desk and restaurant staff were excellent!!! Sorry, I did not get their names!
Absolutely gorgeous bed and breakfast with fabulous Sunday brunch. The old house and been gloriously restored and was a treat just to walk through it. The bed was incredibly comfortable with lovely linens and pillows. The staff was very friendly, gracious and accommodating. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. Lovely selection of wines and beer on tap or in bottles - 1 complimentary drink per guest. Nominal $5 fee thereafter. Was very hard to leave. Worth every penny.
