Stunning, quiet and relaxing location. Close to nature but also easy driving distance to the villages, wineries etc. The hotel is beautiful, feels spacious, cozy and elegant. The rooms are large and comfortable and the staff is very friendly. They hosted a movie night while we were staying with s’mores and popcorn: great idea for all the kids! (And adults). The gym is very modern, with new equipment and nice facilities. Overall, we will totally come back. Many thanks for a lovely stay!
These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
Gorgeous apartment (306) and the building itself is lovely. Outdoor heated pool
also lovely as the temp dropped when we were there. Shuttle bus service is great too !
Wow, what was not to like. A wonderful place with some of the most efficient staff I have ever met when travelling through the USA. The accommodation was perfect. All the facilities you could imagine. It was a fine studio apartment with two balconies, one with a table and chairs and the other with two sun loungers. All the facilities in the hotel we lovely.
I love old castles, the tennis courts, the greenery, the room had a great design, and very quiet when nobody was cutting the grass or listening to loud music at the pool.
The location is beautiful: on the marina, with two nice pools, not too big. There are a lot of activities we can do (boat tour, paddle, yoga, bike). The rooms are beautiful, very comfortable and the amenities lovely.
This really was a gem of a find on our holiday, lovely place with exceptional facilities. They have gone out of their way to turn this from a motel to a boutique style hotel and it works! the communal fire pits were a real treat to and a great way to meet people over an afternoon drink. The breakfast voucher at Bird on the Roof was a great touch too.
It was a beautiful boutique hotel, so reasonably priced and fabulous location surrounded by lovely beaches snd restaurants.
All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming
room super clean, fruit water and coffee/tea daily, mattress comfy, pool clean with towels and gorgeous, side yard lovely with benches, chairs, a firepit and BBQ for guest use, across the street from Long Island Sound and a lovely beach, bike use also included
Very friendly staff and overall just a perfect, relatively affordable place by the beach to stay. We hadn't quite hit pool season when my fiance and I stayed, but it looked lovely! There were also some unexpectedly thoughtful touches such as a mini pack of toothpaste and floss in the room — hadn't seen those in rooms before! It's right across the street from the beach, and definitely a place I would want to stay again.
