The breakfast was superb. We loved both the savory and sweet breakfasts. There is great pride in the presentation as well. As for food, we had hors d'oeuvres on 2 afternoons including wine. This was almost a meal and really ruined our dinner appetite (a good thing!). This may be the best afternoon hors d'oeuvres we've had in this or any other country. Really! There was little about the facility that we did not like. The decor, the grounds, the spaciousness, the comfy sitting rooms were all wonderful! Our hosts were great to talk with. Rick afforded a great deal of time to help us with suggestions and talk about the area. He was a delightful host.

Hotel Pacific is a boutique hotel located in the center of Monterey just steps away from the Monterey Conference Center.

Location to the coast, i.e., Fishermans Wharf and Cannery Row was huge, not to mention, the ease of getting from place to place.

In close proximity to Point Lobos State Park, and short distance to Big Sur, this hotel offers relaxing activities and exploration of the California coastline.

Parking was difficult and they charged for it, which seemed odd given the location. Also the 1st night we stayed they had a very loud movie in the pool area, which our room was just above and it was very loud until 10 pm

Great location! Super close to local things and the view from our second room was gorgeous. Car parking was useful. We ate at the restaurant and had a lovely dinner too. Staff - for the most part - were really helpful and lovely.

This was our favourite hotel in a long trip across Arizona and California. The design is beautiful which gives a real sense of attention to detail. The staff were helpful and well informed. The location was quiet but also full of possibilities for walking and exploring. A stylish place which made for a relaxing stay.

I stayed for a conference since the conference hotel was booked and I’m so glad I did. My room had a cozy fireplace and a stunning view of the bay. The whole property is charming, as are the staff. Plenty of nooks to settle into in the public areas, too, though I didn’t have time for that. This is a lovely inn, and I’ve already rebooked for next year.

The design of the hotel (the hall is very nice), the cleaness of the rooms, the location in the center of Monterey, the availability of the parking very close to the hotel

It was listed as including breakfast - was literally just a cereal bar and coffee at reception. Needed an update throughout and staff seemed a bit fed up. Monterey itself was amazing so just used the room as a base but not a room designed to go back and relax in. Balcony was just a door to the road. Was cheep tho so kept the holiday budget down.
