Stunning hotel with a ton of history. Staff were exceptional as always with the Fairmont. Location is fantastic on top of Nob Hill right in the middle of the city. View from our room in the Fremont Suite were exceptional - from the left of the Golden Gate Bridge, panning right to Alcatraz and North Beach, to the right the TransAmerica Building and Bay Bridge. Super sunny and bright. A ton of space and seating areas. Loved the recycling bins and efforts to support sustainability - through glass bottles to paper packaging.

Really great and helpful staff. It's very outdated, but I think that adds to the charm. I really recommend for the location and staff. I was a solo female traveller and felt very safe. Close to a seven eleven and the main fishermans wharf area.
