The hotel has been restored beautifully. It's clean and modern but still has a historic and unique feel, not like a chain hotel. Very comfortable and quiet. The location was perfect for walking to landmarks and SAIC. The food and service at the restaurant was exceptional, and discounts there and at other local places were terrific! Showtime made the whole experience extra enjoyable. He made sure we were always taken care of when we left. We also liked the Chicago scavenger hunt.

I was placed on a floor that was being renovated on half the floor. It was VERY cold as they must have either had no heat in half the floor or missing windows. Very noisy also.
