United StatesLoved the view of Denali and the general setup of the lobby and surrounding area. It was very centrally located for us to participate in our first Oosik ski race, with the shuttle coming right to the parking lot. It was also a really great touch that they offer to let you know if the northern lights are expected to be out. We loved our stay!

The living room had a true explorer feeling to it, with a fireplace, travel books, a table with scrabble and a puzzle being commonly solved, and with National Geographics goong back to the ‘80s. They did move us to another room. There was no air conditioning and the room was very hot even with the fan provided. Staff was indifferent, food was very expensive. I received a phone call three different times from the lodge after I left stating I didn’t pay. I was able to retrieve my receipt from booking.com and prove otherwise. Our family of 5 was so comfortable here - the kitchen is well equipped and the dining table with windows all over makes it a pleasure to linger over meals there. Beds are comfy and have blackout curtains, critical if you're visiting in the summertime. We loved the extra touches of luggage racks in each bedroom closet. The kitchen is excellent and there are nice touches like free Netflix and board games. There is a terrace too and ample car parking space.
