This 5-star boutique hotel features a small eco-reserve with Zebras and Springboks, a large garden pool, and an open-air jacuzzi. Located in Swellendam, restaurants and cafes are just 50 metres away.

What a place! The second we arrived we were sad that we only booked one night. The place is a dream and the staff very professional. The rooms are great, the swimming pool even better and the breakfast tops it all. Loved it every second.

Bloomestate Swellendam offers stylish rooms and several sunbathing terraces on its expansive grounds. It features a saltwater pool and in-house beauty treatments.

We loved the homemade breakfast and the very friendly Cherè and family.

This retreat is located in quiet Swellendam in the foothills of the Langeberg Mountains. The spacious rooms feature modern décor with rustic touches and living areas with flat-screen satellite TVs.

It was a beautiful setting - the rooms and gardens! It was quiet, although easy to get to the town.

Lovely self-catering cabin/cottage. We were a bit late arriving but that was no problem for them. Loved the design of the cabins, and the views of the moutains in the distance. We only needed to stay one night but it was peaceful and we'd happily stay again.

The hotel, common rooms, bedrooms, outside spaces and pool area are absolutely beautiful and designed in a gorgeous colonial style. Everything has been thoughtfully arranged. Dinner and breakfasts were excellent and very creative. All staff especially the owners could not do enough for their guests. If you are staying in Swellendam, then please stay here!

Absolutely stunning restored Victorian house. Huge rooms with modern facilities whilst keeping the old feel of the property. The grounds are gorgeous. Fantastic evening meal and breakfast. The staff were interesting to chat to and very helpful. The owner had a lovely chat with us to tell us the history of the property. Far exceeded expectations. Sad to only stay a single night.

Like the adjacent internationally acclaimed restaurant, the accommodation reflects the owners’ attention to detail. Every need is catered for. The rooms are well designed with sufficient plugs, adapters and conveniently placed lights. The bed is large and comfortable and the bathroom generously spacious. The amenities are the locally produced ‘Rain’ products to add a touch of luxury to the experience.

The attention to detail and care and consideration from all the staff was exceptional. We really felt taken care of and spoilt during our stay. The property was well designed, clean and stylish. The food was exceptional and of a high standard. The pool area was relaxed and welcoming, very pretty views over the mountains and a lovely good sized pool to dip and play in. I wish we could have stayed for longer!!
