The castle hotel has a very charming traditional look to it, and the staff are absolutely wonderful. The castle hotel is located inside the fortress of Berat, built between the 4th to 13th centuries. The fortress is stunningly well preserved and highly deserves its UNESCO world heritage status. It is filled with quaint traditional restaurants, cafes, shops, and stunning panoramic mountain vistas. Hotel Klea has its own restaurant and bar with delicious traditional food, especially the generously sized breakfasts.

The location of the house is excellent. It's about a 20 minute walk uphill to the fortress, and a 5 minute walk to the old part of Gorica. The old Ottoman-house feel was great. The breakfast on the terrace is probably the best in Berat and I would definitely return. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

Sokak Boutique Hotel is offering accommodation in Berat. With a shared lounge, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Guests can enjoy city views. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They took their time to explain the history of the hotel and the city. The breakfast was very rich in the variety of food that they offered. The parking was handled by the hotel included in the price.

I really like the service for the fist moment I step into the hotel,the staff was very polite and they make me feel like home.Even if it was a short stay it has been the best one I had in Albania. I highly recommend it. P.s. I had a great breakfast as well.
