After warming up well in the sauna, it's worth taking a quick dip in the icy waters of Lake St. Wolfgang, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. We loved the hotel’s unique style. It’s not just a place to stay but an experience we’ll always remember and want to return to.

This traditional, family-run hotel enjoys a quiet but central location, offering guests high-quality, comfortable accommodation in the pretty town of St. The location is in a quiet part of town, so you can sleep with the windows open, a well-equipped room and bathroom, a balcony with a view of the nearby mountains, neat and clean room. Very friendly hosts with answers to all your questions. You can even use the small shared kitchen to cook or store things in the fridge. Good and varied breakfast. All in all, a top ten :)

Hotel Weisser Hirsch er en oase av velvære i hjertet av St. Wolfgang. Her bor du ved bredden av innsjøen Wolfgangsee. Hotellet har et privat område ved bredden av innsjøen og gratis Wi-Fi. - the most comfortable bed. - huge bath tub. - big safe that fits a laptop. - staff is very friendly and helpful. people at breakfast make you feel special. - arrived early, left luggage in the libby and upon check in my luggage was already in the room. - fridge in the room. - big wardrobe. - complimentary fruit upon arrival. - terrace to the lake (private). - restaurant on the lake - amazing. - breakfast was amazing - salmon, different cheeses and meats, eggs / omlettes cooked upon request, fruits - melon, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, cranberries, plums, watermelon, nuts and seeds. - allowed to have breakfast outside with the most gorgeous view. - location - google maps is not accurate bit its perfect. close to all the shops in the main area / cathedral area and close to the ferry. conclusion - A+++

A 5-minute walk from the centre of Sankt Wolfgang, Strandhotel Margaretha offers a private beach on the shore of Lake Wolfgang, a lakeside terrace, a bar, a sauna, and a relaxation room. Beautiful hotel with amazing facilities. We absolutely loved the private "beach" decking area where we could use paddle boards or rowing boats at our leisure with no extra cost. Room was lovely and spacious, modern, clean and with a beautiful view. We were also allowed a late check out with no extra cost which was great- we got to stay longer in Wolfgangsee lake.
