The Hotel Föhrenhof Garni is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The hotel has very responsible and caring staff. Upon registration, we were treated to a delicious salad and a Bavarian sandwich. The breakfast is very tasty in the form of a buffet. The room has a balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains. The bathroom has soap and shampoo, towels. The hotel has a very good location and is close to the lifts to the highest point in Germany. I liked everything very much.

Me and my wife booked for two nights and we wished we had booked for more! Truly exceptional place. The facilities are top notch, you can swim in the infinity pool with mountains covered in snow just in front of you, the 270° lounge was truly relaxing to have a chat or read a book. The spa was incredible with a sauna, a heated pool and floating chairs in a mountain lounge all overlooking the incredible views. Breakfast and dinner were both absolutely delicious, with versatile options. The rooms are spacious, very modern with alpine style. Around the place you can hike with nice hiking trails, we hiked to the eukbaur where there's a nice restaurant. Definitely would go back there, it's in our top 10 unique hotels around the world.

The Hotel has a nice outside area that can be used during leisure time, while you are not out exploring the area. The receptionist was always super helpful and took care of everything :)

Breakfast perfect with lots of choices and staff quickly preparing coffee, clearing and assisting. The property location is IDEAL, clean, minimalist and beautiful views. Great choice!!!

Special thanks to the attentive staff, especially in the restaurant: the service was impeccable, the cuisine delightful, and the breakfasts varied and delicious. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, making it perfect for exploring, yet it remains peaceful and cozy inside. The historic interiors create a unique atmosphere, transporting you to the past while maintaining a high standard of service. Ending the day in the sauna is a great way to relax after a busy day.

Just a 2-minute walk from Oberammergau Train Station, this family-run hotel features a pretty garden terrace, a breakfast room and free on-site parking. During my stay there I felt like being at home with friends and family. Strongly recommend 😀
