More to the point what was NOT to love. The owner was so kind, direct and informative. Great conversation phenomenal atmosphere just a beautiful quiet room place. You felt like they were part of your family and you were part of theirs.

What a wonderful surprise the Palais Royale turned out to be. Elegant and timeless with character and a welcoming vibe. We would stay here again if we return.

Falls Mountain Retreat offers modern and luxurious self-catered and self-contained studios and apartments in the heart of the Blue Mountains. We booked a loft room, as advertised on Bookings.com as the most reasonable option - however when we arrived the room carpets were still damp from recent cleaning. The staff were really helpful and transferred us to ground floor rooms which were dry, and included a huge bonus for us: washing machines and dryers. The Blue Mountains were cold and wet for our visit, so the gas-lit fireplaces and electric air-conditioners were very welcome.

200 meters from Katoomba Train Station, The Carrington offers elegant accommodation in a heritage-listed refurbished manor. Fabulous location, hotel full of character. Great and helpful staff . Room was clean and tidy, comfortable bed. Easy onsight and secure parking ina garage. We would stay again.

Perched on the edge of a ridge, 300 metres from the heart of Katoomba’s town centre, this 4.5-star hotel offers panoramic views of the World Heritage Blue Mountains. OMG - I love this hotel! From the minute we arrived, we were so warmly greeted by staff and it was just fantastic til the moment we left! Old fashioned (but refurbished!) hotel right near the centre of town... five minutes walk if you take the pathway. The room was huge and fabulous! It even had a couch... Friendly and helpful staff Room was quiet Beds were so comfy No elevators but stairs are fine Dinner with a view and food was delicious and it was so nice just being able to walk up to your room after your meal... But we didn't - because there was also a proper bar with a proper piano man playing music all night long - so wonderful! We listened right to the end. We have never done this before and had no idea how enjoyable this can be. Lovely huge lounge Plenty of parking on site Competitive rates with the other properties in Katoomba - so happy we chose to stay here as was a just an all-round experience like what you see in the old movies!

This 1930’s style guesthouse offers comfortable rooms in central Katoomba, across from the Kingsford Smith Park. Hezké přivítání od paní recepční, hezký úklid v průběhu týdne. Možnost zahrát si zdarma billiard. Naprosto úžasná dostupnost od vlakového nádraží( což je ! Moc důležité!), protože se často jezdí na výlety i vlakem a po dlouhé trase nechcete chodit ty kopce nahoru a dolu.

Located in Blackheath, within the UNESCO world-heritage listed Blue Mountains, Parklands Country Gardens & Lodges Blue Mountains offers free WiFi and a restaurant. There was everything we needed and the room was large with a lovely fireplace. The gardens are beautiful.
