We returned to historic Kurrara Guest house , our last stay was 30 yrs ago in 1995. It was so lovely to return. It is even more homely , with beautiful decor , antiques , lovely fabrics , all in Victorian / Edwardian theme. Evelyn and her husband were so welcoming and she recommended all the walks and view points in the Blue Mountains area nearby. Evelyn is the editor of the Blue Mountains tourist guide so her knowledge, history , & advice was invaluable for our stay. We loved our 2 day break here. Next time we will book the bedroom we stayed in 30 yrs ago (it had a four poster bed but think it was booked up ) to reminisce. Our bedroom we had this time was cosy and comfy. Breakfast great too. Highly recommend this guest house , will return.

The hosts were so warm and friendly. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. We had breakfast overlooking the garden with beautifully coloured birds at the window and spent an unusually cool November evening in front of the fire reconnecting without our usual distraction of devices and city noise. We plan to return as often as we can.

This historic boutique hotel, in the heart of Katoomba-Blue Mountains, features 2 separate guest lounge areas, and a sauna. Complimentary WiFi is provided in all communal lounge areas. What a wonderful surprise the Palais Royale turned out to be. Elegant and timeless with character and a welcoming vibe. We would stay here again if we return.

Falls Mountain Retreat offers modern and luxurious self-catered and self-contained studios and apartments in the heart of the Blue Mountains. La struttura è composta da appartamenti posti al piano terra e primo piano. Ci si sente subito a casa. C’è tutto il necessario. I letti sono molto comodi e nel bagno c’è l’idromassaggio, che è una bella coccola dopo una giornata di trekking. Mi ha colpito positivamente la presenza dei dispenser di saponi, quindi non usa e getta, e completi: c’erano anche balsamo e crema. Il personale davvero cordiale! La stuttura è raggiungibile comodamente con un autobus e alcuni ristoranti della zona fanno il servizio delivery quindi si può anche ordinare in camera senza dover uscire. Consigliatissimo

This 1930’s style guesthouse offers comfortable rooms in central Katoomba, across from the Kingsford Smith Park. We love the cleanliness of our room and how helpful the front staff is. The accessibility of the Guesthouse to the train station is also commendable. We will definitely book to this place again.

Located in Blackheath, within the UNESCO world-heritage listed Blue Mountains, Parklands Country Gardens & Lodges Blue Mountains offers free WiFi and a restaurant. There was everything we needed and the room was large with a lovely fireplace. The gardens are beautiful.
