We bbq'd and sat on the deck listening to the birds and watching the kangaroos. We only saw staff as we were leaving. Keyless entry was brilliant, and we felt like it was our own piece of paradise. The only criticism is that you need to be very good friends with your travel companion as there was nothing but a sliding door between the toilet and the bedroom/villa.

10 km from Hunter Valley Gardens, Berenbell Vineyard Retreat is a recently renovated property located in Pokolbin and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. I loved everything about this property, the owner was lovely and came to meet us as we got out of our car to show us the place and hand over the keys. The breakfast provided was beautiful, and they graciously catered to our dietary needs. The views were beautiful and the location was quiet and peaceful, but also close to everything we wanted to see and do. I would absolutely stay here again, cannot recommend it highly enough!

Casa La Vina Pokolbin - Romantic Villas with Outdoor Hot Tubs and Fireplaces in Pokolbin provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and barbecue facilities. As soon as we arrived I never wanted to leave, it was absolutely stunning, the pictures don't do it justice. The little extras they include are so lovely. It was so quiet, exactly what we needed. I can't wait to return!
