It was a good choise. The hotel is in a very good location, walking distance from the old town, and there are a lot of bus and tram stations nearby (to get to the airport was very easy). The staff is very nice. We were celebrating a birthday in Basel, so we got an upgraded room and were invited to have champagne at the bar. The hotel very clear and pleasant. The bed was very confortable. There were fress fruits and lemonade free at the reception every day. The breakfast was delicious and varied.

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available. The room is clean. We received good hospitality from the receptionist and maid.

The Wettstein hotel is located in a central residential quarter of Basel, 200 metres from the Rhine river, and offers you garage parking, free Wi-Fi and a free internet station. a superb hotel…only issue was the bedroom did not have air conditioning though it was exceptionall hot weather.

It's a great location near the station, and the rooms are much better than expected. Everything was spotless and the rooms were well equipped. The staff were kind and helpful!
