It's very cheap and the beds are clean. The receptionist was really nice. Basel itself is lovely (though the hotel is not actually in Basel).

The host is very nice. The room was lovely. The breakfast was excellent. We were made to feel very welcome. We have added this to our preferred places to stay in Basel.

I would say it matches the name of budget hotel. we didn't expect much as needed the hotel to overnight.

Hotel is very pretty and staff are lovely. We went to enjoy Aquabasilea which is adjoining the hotel.

Wonderful service, great food, lovely decorated rooms and bathrooms -- and extremely accomodating management. I had made a booking mistake, booked one night too early. Hotel manager greenlighted applying the payment to our actual stay instead of charging us more. We're very pleased and will be glad to return to this place.

Comfy bed, lovely room, everything works well, good wifi, dark at night. They put a welcome package including peanuts and chocolates in the room. It was basically very nice and comfortable.
