The interior was renovated and designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. - amazing location for long walks - dog friendly - bar had great cocktails and food - breakfast was good with a great view - staff was great!

Located 1 km away from Lucerne, Gasthaus zur Waldegg features 1 restaurant offering traditional Swiss and international cuisine and a beer garden overlooking Mount Pilatus. Got 2 lovely family rooms nxt to each other and had everything we needed and so comfortable bed lovely too, breakfast great and so helpful , great food was booked out last night but would have loved to have eaten all nights there.

Opened in early 2013 after a complete renovation, Hotel Lux in Emmenbrücke is just 6 km from Lucerne. It offers free WiFi and free parking. Very good located, to take transport to train station. And reception staff very helpfull. And breakfast was also good.
