Family-run for 150 years, the Boutique Hotel Balm is located in a green suburb of Lucerne and features a gourmet restaurant with fish and other specialities and offers free WiFi in all rooms. Staying here was truly a memorable experience, made even better by the outstanding staff who went above and beyond to accommodate us. I was in Lucerne to compete in the Swiss City Marathon, and they graciously prepared an early breakfast to fit my race schedule. Edith at reception was incredibly thoughtful, taking time to calm my nerves and ensuring I had everything I needed for the big day. It was the kind of personal touch that’s rare to find and so appreciated. The hotel’s onsite restaurant and Bistro were constantly buzzing with patrons, a clear indication of their popularity. Although we didn’t get a chance to dine in this time, we’ll definitely be trying them on our next visit. With service and atmosphere this exceptional, we wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else in Lucerne!

The family-run Seehotel Gotthard in Weggis on the shore of Lake Lucerne, 25 km from Lucerne, offers 2 restaurants, a pizzeria, a bistro and rooms with scenic views and free WiFi. Everything! A cosy , great views family hotel and restaurant. Comfortable beds ( I read some bad reviews before and couldn’t understand why they were posted), great breakfast, the owners helpful and super friendly, recommended great places and were much more than just “ doing their job”. The views from restaurant and room were stunning. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but learning from the breakfast, I’m sure it’s great. Can’t wait to come back again !!

The Lubo - self check-in is located in the center of the city of Lucerne in the historic old town and only a 10-minute walk from Lucerne main station and just 200 metres from the shores of Lake... Everything was great. It was nice to have laundry and drying facilities. It was more convenient than expected to control the opening and closing of the door with the app.

Château Gütsch is set in a 19th-century castle, overlooking the town of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne, with views to the Rigi Mountain. The interior was renovated and designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. Iš miesto apačios galima pakilti funikulieriumi - liftu :), smagi atrakcija ir patogus susisiekimas. Dvi minutės ir tu miesto centre. Pilyje veikia nuostabus restoranas bei organizuojami įvairūs muzikiniai renginiai. Labai rekomenduoju.

Located 1 km away from Lucerne, Gasthaus zur Waldegg features 1 restaurant offering traditional Swiss and international cuisine and a beer garden overlooking Mount Pilatus. Friendly and helpful staff, wonderful food at restaurant and very delicious breakfast. Easy commute to city centre on bus, bus stop is very close by. Clean, well kept rooms and great views of mountains. Comfortable beds and blankets. Good air con if required.

Opened in early 2013 after a complete renovation, Hotel Lux in Emmenbrücke is just 6 km from Lucerne. It offers free WiFi and free parking. Great location. Cute breakfast spread.

The Hotel Muenzgasse Luzern is located in the Old Town, 600 metres from the the Lucerne Train Station and Lake Lucerne and features city and river view rooms. Free Wi-Fi is available. I really love the self check in system, super location, nice to walk around the channel, room is clean

The Seehof du Lac is situated in the centre of Weggis and only 25 km from Luzern, on one of the loveliest spots on Lake Lucerne. Guests can enjoy a large lakeside lounge with direct lake access. Everything was perfect. Location, breakfast, hospitality, view and the room with the lake view.
