There is also a public garage 300m from the La Rinascente Boutique Hotel. We liked almost everything about this hotel. Right from check in everything was perfect. They had everything ready for us, so check in happened really fast. The staff were friendly and very helpful during the whole stay, with any questions we had. The room was quiet large, modern, comfortable and clean. The bed were a little too soft for our liking, but that is up to personal taste. Excellent breakfast selection. The location was great, within 5mins walk you were standing on Piazza Grande. They also have parking, right in front of the hotel. We can only recommend this place!

Great location close to funicular ride to Monte Bre, ferry to Gandria, Paradiso and other places by the Lugano Lake, the beautiful Parco Ciani and Lugano Centro with a lot of excellent restaurants, shopping and cafe's. You can easily walk. If you prefer to take the bus its for free (Ticino Pass from the hotel) and taxi is not expensive in my opinion.
