Château Gütsch is set in a 19th-century castle, overlooking the town of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne, with views to the Rigi Mountain. The interior was renovated and designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. The price is a little high for us, but the view is unbeatable, especially when we have a little one with us so we couldn’t climb the city wall to enjoy the view. Bus ride from the train station is fast and free, the tram provides easy access to the hotel, a few stairs is unavoidable. Staff is friendly and helpful, the room is nicely maintained.

Family-run for 150 years, the Boutique Hotel Balm is located in a green suburb of Lucerne and features a gourmet restaurant with fish and other specialities and offers free WiFi in all rooms. Very clean and easy to get to downtown via bus just outside hotel with free pass during your stay. Restaurant is amazing - pricey but excellent quality. Breakfast amazing also.

Where do I begin?? 🥰🧿 The two partners - Connie & Gosia are the most warm, beautiful, charming and generous hostesses. The hotel itself is so special with spacious bedrooms with some having gorgeous lake side views. I highly recommend staying in-house for dinner to enjoy Chef Gosia’s DIVINE 3-course meal. She made a special vegetarian meal for us which is the BEST vegetarian food we’ve had in Switzerland. Chef Gosia also made special arrangements for our breakfast which was all so beautifully presented. Roger who works in the restaurant was so kind and professional as was the lovely young lady who took care of us as breakfast. Thank you so much for the most incredible stay - we will return for a longer stay in the summer 🙏🏽♥️

The Lubo - self check-in is located in the center of the city of Lucerne in the historic old town and only a 10-minute walk from Lucerne main station and just 200 metres from the shores of Lake... It is very modern ans stylish rooms. Location is great.
