The Marktgasse Hotel is situated in Zurich´s Old Town, 200 metres from the Grossmünster and 500 metres from Lake Zurich, and boasts free WiFi, free access to a wellness centre, a restaurant and a 24-hour reception. The closest tram stop is 50 metres away. Good location to explore the old town and yet easy to access other parts of Zurich. Variety of delicious food around Our children find the bed comfortable. The staff are super friendly and patient. We flew in early in the morning and they promptly offered us drinks before getting all the paperwork done in no time. They even stored our luggage quickly and recommended us where we could explore or visit before check in. Check-in was quick due to earlier paperwork. The hotel kindly put us in rooms next to each other. Our children enjoyed the time without us and so do we. Feel like a night of honeymoon for us in the historical room with a tub. Drinking water is freely available in the common area with bottles and glasses. The espresso machine works.
