The architecture and ambience at Cuarzo Lodge are nature-inspired, creating an organic design which rescues local resources. We stayed in 7 different accommodations during our trip to Chile and this ranks one of the highest, the breakfast definitely the most original and best. Breakfast was either delivered to your room or enjoyed in the restaurant but it was very traditional with juice, huevos,,local breads, meats and cheese. It was a lot of food to be honest but you didn't need any lunch! Every other hotel did a rather bland array of breads, cheeses, yoghurts and coffee, this was a level above all of those. Each room seemed to have its own very private patio and nature could be enjoyed. The restaurant also did great food and the sunset views made it worthwhile in itself. The facilities were great and the WhatsApp for communication worked perfectly, even down to the video shared before arrival of how to navigate the turn into the lodge. Well done Cuarzo Lodge!

Rooms are also available, and breakfast can be included. We stayed in the deluxe cabin, Rammed 2, which was fantastic (large, new, living room, kitchen, etc.). We added a night in a small room, which was fine, but much simpler. All beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was great, healthy, tasty, plenty. Staff was great, very friendly and attentive.
