Lovely design of the hotel room as well as the lobby area - cosy and welcoming, central location, lovely and helpful staff who spoke good English

Owner and his wife were absolutely lovely and very helpful. The hotel itself wasn’t a beautiful style and very well kept very charming and much better than the big commercial hotels.

If you would stay in Huangshang definitely book this place. Owner and his family were so helpful and hospitable - they consulted us about local places and helped us with everything - tickets (with a hotel discount), taxy, transfer from and to a railway station. The place itself located in a nice valley walking distance from a popular tourists destination. Designs of the rooms are minimalistic and beautiful. For the breakfast we had various options to choose from. We glad we chose this place! The place with a soul! Definitely 10 out of 10.

The staff are really welcoming and friendly, the hotel seems new as the common area as well as room are really well designed and tidy. Ensure you request a breakfast for the following morning.

I liked the modern design of the hotel. The room was nice and comfortable and had a very nice balcony. Super nice owner and staff who are also very helpful regarding tips for hiking on Huangshan, as well as recommendations for the surrounding area. They also speak English very well. Another big advantage is the location. Convenient for food, groceries and the bus station for the shuttle buses to Huangshan, yet away from the main street and therefore relatively quiet, while being right next to the river.

Clean and comfortable place in the middle of Xidi town, with nice homely design and hot showers. Nice friendly dog called Xiao Pang.

Lovely place and look no elsewhere when you come to visit Liyang Ancient Town. The hotel is well designed and decorated to make you feel like home, topped by the excellent service from the owners who shared good knowledge and history of the region. Good location with easy access to both the new and old town, with good options of restaurants and shops. The hotel is well maintained, clean, and serves wonderful local breakfast, freshly made from the kitchen each day. Will definitely come back when we visit Huangshan in the future.

The host/owner was very helpful and accommodative. He went out of his way to make our stay wonderful. The rooms were designed with simplicity but was well thought-out. We would definitely recommend families & friends to stay at 0517.
