Featuring spacious swimming pools and their signature Huayu Spa, Huayu Resort offers indulgence and relaxation is steps from Baihua Gu. There is a 800-square-metre indoor kid's club. The hotel was great; the staff are really nice and helpful and the hotel is really clean and looked after. The staff's English skills are limited but they will still try and help you as best they can. There are a few swimming pools and they're all really nice. There is a little shopping village on the literal doorstep to the hotel which has plenty of restaurants, pharmacies, and stores. There are a few western chain restaurants, too. The beach is just across the street and there are sunbeds for hotel guests. Can't complain about anything and we will definitely come back to this hotel when we come back to Sanya.

The Ritz-Carlton in Sanya is located within Yalong Bay National Resort District. The hotel offers 5 outdoor pools and 2 tennis courts. So this is the Ritz Carlton. Of course it’s great. The positive feelings for the accommodation start right as you enter the main gate, and you can appreciate the lush landscape and Chinese/tropical architecture as you drive up to the entranceway. The staff are always there waiting to help you with everything you need. Check-in was a little bit slow and cumbersome, but not everything of course is ever perfect. We had two rooms and they were very well equipped, very clean and very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the Bathrooms were perfectly laid out and the showers were always nice and hot! The Wi-Fi throughout the hotel worked very well and in the room it was high speed. There is so much to say about this hotel because there were so many things to do, but I will just mention that the swimming pools were very nice. One was super long. The beach was a little bit of a problem since the beach right at the hotel was rocky and, the hotel staff asked you to use the neighboring beach, which was quite nice. It Is possible to go and swim in the sea although the water was a bit musty and it was fairly wavy. But the sand was very nice. We spent most of our time at the swimming pools. our child went to the kids club and he liked it very much and always wanted to go back the next day. The kids club staff were very helpful and friendly. Also The breakfast food is absolutely fantastic. Maybe the best part about the hotel complexes is Its lush surroundings, and beautiful views of the sea. Make sure to get a sea view room at a higher floor.
