Located in Xincheng District, Aurum International Hotel offers well-appointed rooms with free internet. Location is great. Easily walkable to Muslim Quarter, bell tower etc. Breakfast buffet was great.

Featuring a rooftop terrace, See Tang Hostel offers pet-friendly accommodation in Xi'an. Cheap and good location. The best thing was that the owner helped me make a reservation for 兵马俑博物馆 (Terracotta Warriors Museum), which required a Chinese phone number. The room was clean and good enough to spend nights.

Xi'an Travelling with Hotel (South Gate) is located opposite the historic ancient walls of Ming Dynasty. The famous Bell Tower and the lively Huimin Food Street can be reached in a 8-minute walk. The place is so well located inside the wall, near the metro station (china-near) and the staff was super helpful and helped us to book a trip to the Xian warriors and everything we needed.
