Located in Santa Marta’s historical centre, this boutique hotel offers Colonial style and modern décor, a spa, a terrace with a bar and an indoor pool. It was all absolutely fabulous! The staff are extremely helpful, the freshly prepared breakfast was wonderful, and I loved the room and pool facilities too!

Del Mar is located in El Rodadero, just 4 km away from Santa Marta. Free WiFi access is available. The hotel is a 3-minute walk from El Rodadero Beach and from Rodadero Sea Aquarium and Museum. It was very clean, modern rooms and amazing breakfast! This area is the area to come if you want to be surrounded by Colombian and South American tourists. I think I was the only one from another country in Rodadero and because of this you really get a taste of life in the inside. This location was perfect for hopping on the boat to lovely Playa Blanca as well.
