Hotel Indalo adults only is centraal gelegen in het centrum van Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, op slechts 3 minuten lopen van het strand Salsa Brava. Room was clean and cozy, location is just great and staff was helpful and friendly.

Hotel El Encanto ligt in Cahuita, op slechts 50 meter van het strand, en heeft een zwembad en een restaurant. U kunt gratis gebruikmaken van WiFi en het ontbijt is gratis. Beautiful hotel with a wonderful garden and pool area, great breakfast, kind staff situated just a little bit off the center of Cahuita. I didn’t have the chance to have a dinner at their restaurant but the cocktail was delicious. Would return again.

Set on a riverbank and surrounded by jungle, Tortuga Lodge by Böëna offers an outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi and a restaurant serving fusion cuisine with Caribbean flavours. All rooms have river views. Bij aankomst wordt je opgewacht door een aantal personeelsleden als ontvangst. Goed uitgeruste kamers midden in de jungle. Hele goede excursies, boottour en avondwandeling zijn een must. Eten perfect. Personeel zorgt goed voor zijn gasten.

Physis Caribbean Bed & Breakfast ligt in mooie tropische tuinen en biedt lichte accommodatie. Our room with the outdoor shower was so clean and calm and the surroundings were incredibly peaceful. Juliet is a fantastic host and the breakfast was amazing. Everything was 10/10 and we hope to return some day.

Offering a beautiful tropical forest setting, Le Cameleon Boutique Hotel is a walking distance from Cocles beach in Puerto Viejo. Voor het personeel was niets te veel. Iedereen dacht altijd een stap vooruit. De tour naar Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge is door onze gids Jungleman echt heel bijzonder geworden. Van begin tot de laatste minuten heeft hij er een feestje, een waardevolle educatie en een echt gevoel voor Costa Rica aan meegegeven. Zouden hem iedereen aanbevelen. Ook zijn moeder, eigenaresse Lidia’s Place met een voortreffelijke Caribische locale keuken is een bezoek zeker waard.

Hotel Banana Azul heeft een grote tuin met een buitenzwembad en ligt aan het strand Playa Negra, op 2,5 km van het centrum van Puerto Viejo. Er is gratis WiFi in alle ruimtes. Prachtige kamers, mooie ligging. Wel een mini zwembad. Toch een aanrader!

Situated 150 metres from Playa Cocles Beach, Caribe Town Bungalows offers tropical gardens and a pool with a swim-up bar. Puerto Viejo town is just 3 km away. I stayed for three nights in November. I loved this place. It felt slightly off the beaten track being out of town but had everything needed within a short distance. I loved the feeling that you were in the middle of the jungle. The owners were super friendly and gave great recommendations for where to eat and activities. The beach just opposite is absolutely beautiful. The cabin was gorgeous and all the little things had been considered, nice toiletries, plug by the mirror for drying hair etc. The bed was huge and super comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. I always had the Special of the day. Do not miss Coconut French bread day!
