Centrally located in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca town centre and just a 3-minute walk from Salsa Brava Beach, Hotel Indalo adults only features an extensive garden, sun terrace and free Wi-Fi. Very nice room, clean and with everything you need. friendly staff and owner. 5 minutes walking from center but very quite. Nice pool area. They offer a basic breakfast woth coffee and cookies but you could pay for a continental one. Still there is a very good bakery 10 minutes walking.

Just 50 metres from the beach, Hotel El Encanto is located in Cahuita and features a pool and a restaurant. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, free breakfast and private terraces. Absolutely wonderful. Room was clean and functional. Pool and facilities exceptional. Breakfast was included and very scrumptious. On site iguanas 🦎, sloths 🦥 and frogs.

Set on a riverbank and surrounded by jungle, Tortuga Lodge by Böëna offers an outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi and a restaurant serving fusion cuisine with Caribbean flavours. All rooms have river views. location, pillows which were exceptionally comfortable . kayak tour was the highlight

Set in attractive tropical gardens, Physis Caribbean Bed & Breakfast offers bright accommodation. Juliet was a perfect Host, always kind and helpful. the rooms were lovely and clean, the garden where you can have breakfast is wonderful. there are restaurants and 3 supermarkets in walking distance.. the B&B is 2km bike ride away from Puerto Viejo. i would definitely recommend this house to anybody and would stay here everytime again.

Offering a beautiful tropical forest setting, Le Cameleon Boutique Hotel is a walking distance from Cocles beach in Puerto Viejo. Stylish luxury completely immersed in nature. The restaurant and beachclub with second pool at the oceanfront are amazing and have delicious choices One out of 5 higher class hotels we stayed at during our 2 week trip and we all liked it best. The combination with a huge private beach area is perfect. We liked to see some agutis on the property. I got cake with candles, singing waiters and balloonflowers for my birthday! Good to know: you need to cross a street between hotel and restaurant/beachclub/ocean.

Amazing location by the most naturally gorgeous black sand beach. The property was well manicured and felt as if you were in the middle of the jungle.

Situated 150 metres from Playa Cocles Beach, Caribe Town Bungalows offers tropical gardens and a pool with a swim-up bar. Puerto Viejo town is just 3 km away. We stayed at Caribe Town for three days, but we could stay for weeks in this little oasis. You can feel the love and passion of the owners who created this paradise. With a very warm and extensive welcome our stay started, and after that, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast everyday, as well as the swimming pool and some tasty cocktails. In the morning it really felt like we were in the middle of the jungle, waking up with the sounds of howling monkeys, birds and frogs. There’s a lot of animals to see in the garden. Our bungalow was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. There’s also multiple good restaurants at walking distance. We will definitely come back!
