Our plane arrived several hours late at 1:30am and they were still waiting for us. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful.

Breakfast was available for a reasonable charge. But we didn't eat there to avoid motionsickness while driving in the mountains. Room had a cute patio. Beautiful garden all around.. Took pictures.

What an incredibly beautiful boutique hotel! Very close to Jade Museum, National Museum and parks a short walk (10+ minutes) to theatre and Gold Museum, markets. Lovely restaurants close by. Exceptional kindness from the front desk staff.

Hotel Palma Real is set in San José, 400 metres from La Sabana Park, home to the Costa Rica National Stadium. The hotel offers a gym, free Wi-Fi and free parking. Great place, very helpful staff. I returned to Palma Real another 2 times during my trip. It was a cozy safe heaven.
