La Rosario Hotel by H&S is located in Quito, a 10-minute drive from the city’s historic centre. The property can arrange transportation services, and offers free Wi-Fi and on-site parking. Hotel with a great location. Both the old town and the metro are within walking distance. Staff friendly, quick to respond to questions. For a small extra fee, we were able to use the room earlier - a great option for those coming from a night bus. You didn't have to wait for hot water - it came as soon as you turned on the tap :) The breakfast is sufficient and delicious.

Casa Foch, such a quaint home style accomodation. Included daily breakfast our host Enrico was amazing, offering tips for food and organising transfers when required. We felt safe and secure. Only a short walking distance to Plaza Foch which has lots of nightlife and food options. There is some noise of an evening however it doesn’t go all night. Hot water is provided all day and on demand of a night time as it can be noisy. The traditional breakfast includes eggs, toast and fruit with coffee and juice. The compound is secure and staff available at all hours.

There could not be a better place to stay when visiting Quito. The property is very conveniently located, only a 10-minute walk to Plaza Grande and the historical sites and restaurants near the plaza. The owner, Sra Casares, gave a wonderful tour of the property, with its amazing collection of antiques and works of art. She also accompanied me and a friend with whom I was travelling to dinner one evening for a memorable time. The staff, Santiago and Clarita, could not have been more helpful. My room was comfortable and quiet. I would certainly stay at Casa San Marcos again if I come to Quito.
