The owners Blanca, Mario and their son Daniel were fantastic and carrying hosts. The room we stayed at was spacious, beautifully furnished and comfortable with a separate bathroom with a bathtub. The location is perfect for exploring the Old Town - walking distance to all the major sights, landmarks and restaurants. After a day of exploring Quito and surroundings, we had a glass of wine from Mario’s private cellar on the rooftop with the stunning views of the city. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend Casa El Eden and would stay here again in the future!

Located in Quito’s historical centre, Hotel Casa Gardenia offers modern and bright accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Buffet breakfast is included. The main square is 500 metres away. The hotel is located in Centro de Historico, and within walking distance of most tourist attractions in the area. It was recommended to me by my tour guide, and it did not disappoint! The owner and staff here are so friendly and helpful! We had arrived just a little after 5pm on a Saturday, and it was right after the power was cut off (country wide daily scheduled power outage). The battery on our phones were running low after after flight, and friends that we met in Galapagos the week prior was staying in another area where there was electricity. We were nervous to walk down to the square to meet them, as it was starting to get dark (and there were no street lights due to the power outage), don't speak Spanish, and generally not oriented with the area. Enrique offered to walk down to the square with us, and made sure we were ok before leaving. The next morning, we were feeling affects of the altitude, and he got us coca tea, and advice on what to do to help us acclimatize. Andre was friendly, offered us water before us heading out. Made sure we got something to eat every morning. There was always fruit, bread, and cook to order eggs and ham! He was extremely apologetic for the power outage, but it was to no fault of the hotel! He provided a portable lamp so that we would have a source of light at night. Cynthia was also very friendly and helpful, and helped us arrange airport transfer at the end of our trip, and even got the driver to come earlier when we were ready to go. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Hotel Casa Gardenia! Everything was clean and tidy. Service was amazing. The hotel has floor to ceiling windows that overlook Quito, and it's an amazing view! Wifi was fast (when the power was on. Would definitely recommend!

The best Hotel we‘ve been to in Ecuador. Amazing Staff, great Breakfast and beautiful rooms. Would definitely recommend and come back!

Set in a modernist colonial mansion, Hotel Vieja Cuba offers accommodation in one Quito’s finest commercial areas. Fantastic and friendly little hotel that exudes the charm and spirit of Ecuador. Rooms are each unique and adorably decorated like a small in, not a hotel. The breakfast was really delicious and portion was generous. Many restaurants nearby.

Set in a picturesque 17th Century building featuring an art gallery and a restaurant, Hotel Boutique Casa San Marcos offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and cable TV in central Quito. I loved everything about this hotel, my stay was spectacular, I enjoyed a great view from my room, also the room, the bed I slept in is more comfortable than my own bed. I was able to get around the city and getting back to my hotel was very easy. Also the staff provided me with a lot of information about places to go and eeo transportation. I really enjoyed everything. It is a place that is definitely worth visiting. The interior of the hotel is like a trip back in time and there is a great story behind it.
