Friendly, helpful reception staff. Excellent breakfast.

This design hotel enjoys a fantastic setting overlooking the beach and sea in the charming, peaceful resort of Ribadesella, on the beautiful north coast. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Wonderful hotel right at the beach. A nice walk to town center. Delicious breakfast with many breads and rolls, cheese, fruit, and other goodies. Quiet, comfortable, and pleasant stay. Definitely would stay here again.

This beautiful hotel is set in a restored convent dating from the 17th century, just off Sablón beach in the pretty village of Llanes. The size and cleanliness of the room. There was free parking. Location fantastic, a short walk to the harbour, shops and restaurants. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially Marion and Anna. The restaurant is special and the food was very well prepared . Highly recommend this hotel.

Surrounded by nature, Finca Portizuelo offers charming rooms with free WiFi. Located 1,5 km from center, this hotel features a garden, terrace and a bar. The peace and quiet,excellent home cooked food,the friendliness and helpfulness shown by the staff,a place to relax.

Casa Peleyon asub Ribadeo kesklinnast 2,5 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on aed koos möbleeritud terrassiga ja ühine kaminaga puhkeruum. Playa de las Catedrales jääb 14 km kaugusele. The old house was renovated honouring the authentic style. Old and New is in perfect harmony. Picturesque and very cosy. Or room was a big one with a pleasant bathroom and balcony. The hostess was very caring and directed us to the best restaurant nearby to have dinner. Walk to the harbour was soothing and the view to the bay during the Sunset like in a movie. We had also the best breakfast during our trip in Spain. The food was fresh, tasty - local cheeses, hams, cakes, fresh orange juice, croissants, coffee. Recommend very much if you want to experience local culture outside of big city. And also enjoy quiet surrounding and Nature.

Everything very clean, modern room and bathroom. The room skylight made the room nice and bright, and when the skylight shade was closed the room was nice and dark. Room had a mini fridge (with a small bottle of water) in the wardrobe. Spare blanket, jug, herbal teas provided. Towels, soap, shower gel and shampoo provided. I used the correos luggage transfer service which went well. Great location on the Camino del norte (about 3 blocks from tourist info centre and only a few hundred metres to rejoin the camino trail). Wifi and TV worked well. Hot shower with great water pressure. Room had a little desk and chair.

This is a beyond-magnificent hotel with a superb host, greatly needed after a long day’s walk on the camino. When we arrived, Rogelio opened the main door and warmly welcomed us inside. After getting us checked in, he walked us to our room and showed us the room’s amenities. The rooms were beautiful. Later we ate dinner in the indoor restaurant which had an open feel with its large windows to the coastal view outside. The restaurant atmosphere was very relaxing with calming, ambient music. The next morning we had breakfast in the same restaurant before checking out and continuing our journey on the camino with Rogelio’s kind guidance. This is the only hotel in my life where we wish we could have stayed and never left, but the camino calls and we must go… Thank you Rogelio and the staff of Hotel Rural Playa de Aguilar, we hope to return again.
