Hotel de France is housed in a former coaching inn and is located on the edge of Mende’s town centre. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from Mende Cathedral. The Comfort Room in the separate Villa des Jardins was beautifully appointed with a large comfortable bed, quality linen and comfortable chairs. Quiet and very clean. Easy distance from train station and centre. Very helpful manager and staff. Excellent service and food in the restaurant for dinner.

Great breakfast and conversation with the host in the mornings. Comfortable and quiet accommodations. Excellent location with ample free parking nearby, food market, restaurant, and wine store. Carcassonne Guesthouse is a B&B located in Carcassonne. The property is situated on the river Aude and features a shared terrace with views of the castle. Our room and the common areas were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The host was gracious and thoughtful. The breakfast was the best we’ve had in France. Also, there was parking for our bicycles.

Maison Orsini B&B is located just outside the historic city of Avignon and offers views over the Papal Palace, Avignon-Villeneuve and St André Fort. The hotel has a beautiful garden with a terrace overlooking the Rhone and Avignon where you can have breakfast. We had a comfortable cottage very nicely decorated. The main house is a 14th century building where breakfast is served.

Staff were super helpful. Elodie made us dinner reservations at a wonderful French restaurant that we would never have found on our own. Location was perfect, with an easy walk to the center of Narbonne. First place on our trip where we got daily room service! The pool was an extra bonus because the weather was so hot. Air conditioning in our room was awesome.
