In the centre of Melrose, The Townhouse Hotel is a 2-minute walk from Melrose Abbey and less than 3 miles from Sir Walter Scott’s former home, Abbotsford. Beautiful bedroom - spacious, light and comfortable. Very good menu for dinner and breakfast - enjoyed the food. Friendly and helpful staff both front of house and in dining room.

Set in St Boswells, this award-winning country Inn dates back to 1836. Breakfast menu was fantastic. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room and en-suite was lovely. Garden was beautiful.

Station Hotel has en suite rooms in a town-centre location. The restaurant offers home cooking at reasonable prices. Melrose Abbey is close by. Perfect place for a visit to Melrose and area. Excellent staff, nice, big , comfortable rooms,, old style pub and restaurant downstairs.. The Borders bus can be caught just outside the door and the train station in Tweedbank is just a short taxi ride (we were lucky to get a ride from a local who was also on the train). We enjoyed everything about our four days in Melrose.

Located in central picturesque Selkirk, the The County Hotel - Self Check-In, Ultra Fast WI-FI, Free Parking, Central Location is a friendly former coaching inn on the market square. Everything was great. The breakfast was the best we had in Scotland - and I'm not just saying that! This is a fabulous clean and bright establishment in a great location with staff who just want to delight their customers.
