Highfield features great lake and mountain views and its own private car park. The beautiful rooms have en suite bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities. The receptionist at the check in was very polite and helpful. The room had a mountain view and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was cooked to perfection. Good selection of fruit and cereal at the breakfast buffet.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Excellent location. Was able to purchase early parking and check in. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, fruit juices, fruit, yogurt, granola and cereals and a great selection of cooked breakfast choices.

Set in 14 acres of landscaped grounds next to Furness Abbey, Abbey House Hotel offers luxurious rooms with historic features. Guests can enjoy free WiFi and free on-site parking. Was nice but with limited options. Still it was manageable.

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels. Comfortable, clean, great location! Wonderful breakfast and host!

Our hotel is perfectly situated with views of Lake Windermere, just a short stroll from the bustling village centre of Bowness-on-Windermere and the boats that travel the length of Windermere, making... The facility and the people were exceptional. My wife and I enjoyed every minute of the trip. Please keep me posited with every new thing in this great resort.

With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... loved everything tbh, especially the welcome and service

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. Very comfortable and attractive property.

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness. The included breakfast was incredible! The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. The room is full of character, aesthetically pleasing and very thoughtfully arranged. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We would definitely visit again.
