Friendly and hugely welcoming hosts. It was so lovely to meet John and Steph, a real delight. It was great the get some history of the area and excellent recommendations for walks and places to eat. As the other reviews said, the breakfast was also a highlight of our stay. So delicious! And watching the birds whilst having breakfast was just joyful. A real gem of a place, thoroughly recommended to everyone.

Cottage Lodge Hotel is set in the Victorian village of Brockenhurst, nestled in the heart of the New Forest National Park. This is the second time that I'm staying in this haven...my sister and my husband were with me..nothing was too much trouble...Jackie is an absolute treat and was lovely enough to put me and my sis and husband in adjoining rooms side by side .the breakfast is delicious with local organic jams ..def choose the eggs Benedict soooo good!..beds are super comfy ..and it's close to the station a d the forest ..fantastic!!!

An amazing looking hotel not at all what I was expecting in an excellent location, easy to reach via public transport. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice. Lovely clean room and comfortable bed. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and the restaurant menu is well worth a look.

Set in Brockenhurst, a 25-minute drive from Southampton, The Huntsman of Brockenhurst is a forest inn dating back to the 13th century that has undergone a major refurbishment. Rooms were well done, lovely stay and lovely food.

In Sway, within the beautiful New Forest, The Manor at Sway features leafy gardens and a traditional restaurant. Its luxury bedrooms are set in a grand Edwardian house. Very cute hotel. Breakfast was quite nice. Comfortable room with very clean facilities. Staff were all very kind.

Woodlands Lodge Hotel is a privately owned 3-star country house hotel, in an idyllic location on the edge of the New Forest. Super hotel in a beautiful setting . We loved the facilities in our room, including dog towel, dog blanket and a dog treat! Bed was really comfortable, and the breakfast menu was varied.

We really enjoyed our stay and the stunning setting within the New Forest NP and the hotel right next to the river makes it a perfect place. Really calm and perfect to relax in style. Also, very lovely and stylish rooms, generously equipped.
