Mrs Irene was the most welcoming and lovely host! She helped us with taxis and also greeted us with homemade local delicacies. The room was spacious and clean, our balcony had the view of the sea. The location is quiet with stunning gardens. Overall, an ideal place to stay!

Just a few steps from Batsi beach and the bustling marina with many restaurants and bars. However, it’s real highlight is the warmth of the welcome from hosts, Vasillis and Alexandra assisted by Alexander. We were treated like family and nothing was too much trouble for them. Excellent breakfasts were served on an outdoor veranda overlooking the beach. We were blown away when Vasillis prepared a Greek salad to accompany our restaurant leftovers from the previous day and threw in a bottle of wine. I can’t say enough about this hotel, except I plan to go again sometime.

Com uma localização fantástica e vista maravilhosa da baía e do porto, este hotel encontra-se apenas a 200 metros da praia principal de Batsi e a 400 metros da pequena praia de Colona. We had an amazing time at Mare Vista. We stayed for three weeks and it was absolutely perfect. The bedroom was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. There was plenty of water in the bathroom which might be rare on an island (last year we stayed in an other hotel and they would often run out of water). The room is cleaned and fresh towels are provided everyday. The location is great, right above Batsì, one of the main centers of the island. At breakfast there was a wide variety of choice and all food was delicious. All the staff was amazing. A special mention for Sophia who works at the reception. She’s a very kind and friendly woman whom now we can call a friend. She has a lovely dog, Leonidas, we would have taken him back home with us but he loves his mama too much and so does she 🤣 We’ll always cherish the wonderful moments we had at Mare Vista. Eukaristó, everybody!
