Built of stone, Bastione Malvasia Hotel is situated in the medieval castle of Monemvasia, just 300 metres from the gate. Amazing location, very nice and spatious room with stone vaults and a terrasse overhanging the roofs of Monemvasia. Breakfast was also very good.

Set in a mid-19th-century neoclassical house right opposite Kapodistrias Square, the boutique hotel Nafsimedon offers a small garden with palm trees overlooking Kolokotronis Park. The staffs are very warm and polite, providing detailed recommendations on parking and restaurants deserved to be try. The location is so good that all the site are walkable. The facilities are all well equipped and with high quality.

Beautifully restored Pension Dafni is located in Nafplio’s Old Town, underneath Palamidi Fortress, 200 metres from Arvanitia Beach. Our stay here was exceptional. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the hotel is situated right in the middle of Nafplio's beautiful city centre. The staff are all nice and attentive and the breakfast was delicious (and cheap!). We loved our time here and definitely recommend it to everyone.

Former residence of a 19th century mayor of Nafplion, Ilion is situated in the centre of the Old Town, overlooking Syntagma Square. It features classical furnishings and rooms with different themes. The grand old style of the decor and the helpful staff. The location is perfect in Old Town and the breakfast is very grand.

The neoclassical 3 Sixty Hotel & Suites is located in the centre of Nafplion, just 100m. from the port and has a restaurant. Right in the middle of everything in Nafplion. Staff is extremely warm and hospitable, and the breakfast spread was so generous that I didn't need to eat lunch! My room also came with an outdoor jacuzzi which was very nice.

Housed in a traditional, renovated building, the family-run Nafplion 1841 is in Nafplio Town, 30 metres from Syntagma Square. Everything was well thought out and orchestrated. My endless gratitude to Adonis, who took me to the pharmacist on Sunday and then to the emergency room, when the pharmacist insisted, and cheerfully waited with me, joking to keep my spirits up. I felt well taken care of. And bravo for the wonderful breakfasts.
