George was super helpful even before my trip I had a million questions. He was so helpful. Also while I was staying. I can highly recommend. There was also a divine taverna just down the road. I also caught a ktel bus up to the monastaries. The ticket is €1.60 which was so much better that a tour or tour bus. I got out at great MeteorA and walked between the monastaries at my own pace. I caught the bus outside a little shop a few minutes down the road just because that is where I happened to be. That same ktel bus drives straight past Guesthouse Vavitsas. The view from the room incredible.

The hotel is perfect. It locate in the middle of the village. My room is clean, and I could watch the mountain through my window. My room has toiletries, slippers, dental equipment, coffee and everything.

Hotel Aegli, conveniently situated near the port and centre of Volos, provides accommodation throughout the year, in the most privileged location, enjoying views of the port. The staff is very polite and efficient, the location is beautiful, close to the port but also not far from the commercial center of Volos. Breakfast is satisfying. The room was spacious and the bed was big and comfortable. I would stay there again!

Simply everything. This is so far the best place I ever stayed in. From the service to view, and from the location to sauna.

The staff was very polite and friendly. They didn’t accept money for our drinks, and also suggested a lot of places to visit. The hotel was pretty cool traditional building & the view from our balcony was great. I was sceptical before arriving, but it’s better than in pictures. I’d absolutely recommend.

This monastery-style guesthouse is just 200 metres from Kalampaka centre just behind the small picturesque train station. It offers rustic rooms with free Wi-Fi and panoramic views of Meteora. Such a beautiful place, the decor takes one to several years ago and helps to create the atmosphere that you expect from a place like this. The breakfast was amazing and the area just next to the pool has a view that we will never forget. The room was very comfortable, the shower perfect. Great staff also, very friendly and helpful.

I’ve never started a review this way before, but here goes. If you are lucky enough to find Stolios Apartments available to you at the time you want to visit, BOOK IT NOW. You won’t regret it! These are the words that best describe the accommodations: Traditional, delightful, enchanting, with breath-taking views and beautiful gardens. The place itself is amazing with its old-style Greek charm, but still has all the modern conveniences you’ll need. That in itself would be plenty, but that was not the best part of our stay. The hosts George and Debi are incredible and were the most fantastic part of our visit. George met us as we got off the ferry and we were grateful to follow him up to the lodging which was quite a ways up the mountain and seemed a bit confusing. Debi was waiting for us and greeted us warmly. We sat at a table on their charming courtyard as George showed us on a map the highlights of Skopelos as we ate a delicious apple cake served by Debi. When we were shown to our room we were blown away by the huge patio with amazing views of the Aegean Sea. The room was very comfy and roomy, and we had a bottle of wine and cookies awaiting us. Every morning Debi served us a nice breakfast which we appreciated. We were the last guests for the season along with another couple in the adjoining room, so perhaps that’s why George and Debi felt the need to invite us to their home on the property and served us a traditional Greek meal? When we left the following morning they had small bon voyage gifts which we were touched by. They go above and beyond being hospitable, and we will forever remember George and Debi who helped make our stay there so memorable!
